Eli Pittenger

Eli Pittenger has been a key part of MotorCar Doctors since 2008, helping shape the shop into what it is today. With over 35 years in the automotive industry and nearly two decades with the company, Eli brings a level of experience, consistency, and leadership that both customers and team members rely on every day. Eli began his career in the automotive industry as a lube technician, gaining hands-on experience from the ground up. That early foundation gave him a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair, as well as the importance of doing things the right way from the start. Over the years, Eli has developed a unique ability to bridge the gap between the technical side of auto repair and the customer experience. He understands mechanical repairs in depth, but just as importantly, he knows how to explain them in a clear, straightforward way that helps customers feel confident in their decisions. As Store Manager, Eli plays a central role in keeping the shop running smoothly. He works closely with both the team and customers to ensure everyone stays aligned with the goals of the shop and the standards MotorCar Doctors is known for. His leadership helps create a consistent experience built on honesty, communication, and quality work. What sets Eli apart is his ability to take complex problems and make them understandable. He knows that most customers don’t just want their vehicle fixed: they want to know what’s going on and trust that they’re being taken care of. After 18 years with MotorCar Doctors, Eli has built lasting relationships with customers throughout Beaverton, Tigard, Hillsboro, and the surrounding communities, becoming a familiar and trusted face at the shop. Outside of the shop, Eli enjoys anything with speed and horsepower, including drag racing, motocross, and riding OHV vehicles. When he’s not around engines, he’s spending time with his family.
