Joseph Matte

Joseph Matte has been part of the MotorCar Doctors team for the past three years, bringing with him 10 years of experience in the automotive industry. As a diagnostic technician, Joseph plays a key role in identifying and solving some of the most complex vehicle issues that come through the shop.

Joseph has a strong background in electrical systems and diagnostics, with specialized training in wiring and advanced troubleshooting. His ability to understand and work through complex vehicle systems allows him to accurately diagnose problems that aren’t always obvious, helping ensure repairs are done correctly and efficiently.

He works closely with the team to support difficult diagnostic cases, providing insight and solutions that help move repairs forward. His approach is thoughtful and methodical, focused on finding the root cause of an issue rather than just addressing the symptoms.

What sets Joseph apart is his drive to learn and his ability to figure things out. Whether it’s a challenging electrical issue or a hard-to-pinpoint problem, he brings persistence and a problem-solving mindset to every vehicle he works on.

A local to the area, Joseph attended Sherwood High School and takes pride in serving the surrounding communities, including Beaverton, Tigard, and Sherwood.

Outside of the shop, Joseph enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar and drums, and relaxing with games.
