Where is MotorCar Doctors in Beaverton?

Quick answer: on the north side of Canyon Road, just west of Cedar Hills Boulevard, right past the Brickhouse Tavern. Our address is MotorCar Doctors Auto Repair, 13203 SW Canyon Rd, Ste C, Beaverton, Oregon 97005. We’re open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Heading west on Canyon, watch for the tavern and turn in just after it. We are Suite C, with customer parking in front.

How do I get here from Highway 217 or Highway 26?

From Highway 217, take the Canyon Road exit and head west on Canyon toward Cedar Hills Boulevard. From Highway 26, take the Cedar Hills Boulevard exit, drive south to Canyon Road and turn right. Either way, look for the Brickhouse Tavern. We’re just past it on the right.

Coming from Tigard, Highway 217 north to Canyon Road is the quickest route. From Hillsboro, TV Highway or Murray Boulevard down to Canyon both work.

Can I drop off my car early or pick it up after you close?

Yes. The after-hours key drop is just to the right of the front door. Grab an envelope from behind the pull-down door, fill it out, put your keys inside and drop it in the box. For a late pickup, we can leave your keys in our key lockbox. Tell us when you book and we’ll set it up.

What happens at your first visit?

You check in at the counter, and we get you and your vehicle into our system. A technician then does a digital vehicle inspection. It takes about 45 minutes to an hour, or less when you’re in for one specific problem.

The photos and measurements land on your phone as soon as the inspection is done, followed by a written estimate. You approve the work from wherever you are. Anything that can safely wait is marked as waiting, so you can plan for it.

From the Shop Floor: A RAV4 at 275,000 Miles

A 2004 Toyota RAV4 with 275,023 miles came in from a Beaverton neighbor this September because it would not start reliably. Senior technician Rob Lamont spent an hour testing the starting and charging system rather than swapping parts, confirmed the alternator and the connections were healthy, and traced the fault to a battery that could no longer hold a charge.
