Maintenance on the Minder, Not on a Guess
Acura’s maintenance minder works out what your car actually needs from how it has been driven, which is a better system than a fixed mileage sticker — as long as somebody reads the codes properly. We handle oil and filter service, the 30/60/90 interval services, filters, belts and fluids, and we reset the minder correctly so the car’s own record stays accurate.

Diagnosis, Electrical and Climate
A check engine light can mean a loose gas cap or a misfire, and the only way to know is to read the codes and the live data. We do that with equipment that speaks Acura, then tell you what it means, how urgent it is, and what your options are.
Electrical work is a strength here — batteries, alternators, starters, parasitic drain, and the intermittent faults that are genuinely hard to pin down. Heating and air conditioning we handle as well.
Brakes, Suspension and Cooling
Ordinary work, done properly. Brake service with the right pads and rotors, cut on our own in-house lathe when the rotors have the material for it. Suspension — struts, shocks, control arm bushings, ball joints, sway bar links — which is where most of the clunks and wander on a higher-mileage Acura come from. And the cooling system, where a hose or a thermostat replaced on a routine visit is a much smaller job than the one that follows a temperature gauge climbing.
Engine and Driveline
Tune-ups, rough idle, reduced power, oil consumption, VTC actuator rattle on cold start — the things Acura engines actually do — get diagnosed rather than guessed at. On the driveline we do fluid and filter service on the factory interval and diagnose shift complaints honestly.

The Models We See
MDX
The three-row that does the school run and the mountain trip. SH-AWD driveline fluid service, suspension work to keep the ride right, brakes, cooling and diagnostics. On the hybrid MDX we look after the conventional side — brakes, fluids, suspension and diagnostics.
RDX
Turbocharged and generally hard-working. Oil service on schedule matters more on a turbo engine than on anything else, because most turbo failures we see trace back to oil that was the wrong specification or left in too long. Brakes, cooling, suspension and diagnostics as well.
TLX
V6 and turbo four variants, SH-AWD on many of them. Driveline fluid service, sport suspension components, brakes, and engine diagnostics when something is not pulling the way it should.
ILX
Straightforward to look after and long-lived if the maintenance keeps up. Routine service, brakes, suspension, electrical and cooling.
Integra
The current Integra, including the Type S. Maintenance on the minder, brakes, suspension, diagnostics — and clutch work on the manual cars, which is the one job we would put our hand up for ahead of anyone in town.
